Season May Be Over for Eagles Carlson

Pat Carlson has to call it a season. The Wilmington Eagles reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Cleveland Attack and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Carlson was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 13-14 months.

So far this season Carlson has worked 75.1 innings in 8 relief appearances with 0 saves. He has dished out 44 strikeouts and walked 22 with a 3-5 mark and a 6.21 ERA.
