ELE Best Hitter Trophy Goes to Geestman Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 Toronto Blue Jays fans believe they've got a talented young star in Igor Geestman. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .422 with 6 home runs, 29 RBIs and 26 runs scored. The end result was the right fielder being named the East Batter of the Month. This year Geestman has socked 174 hits in 513 at-bats for a .339 average with 20 home runs. He is getting on base at a .405 pace and his totals also include 106 RBIs and 105 runs scored. |
