Avalanche End Trujillo's Streak Friday, August 5th , 2050 Víctor Trujillo's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 24 games today as the Rochester Spartans dropped their contest with the Colorado Springs Avalanche 16-9 at Avalanche Park. Trujillo failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-5. After the game Trujillo spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. For the season Trujillo is batting .385 with 153 hits and 25 home runs. He has scored 85 times and batted in 91. |
