Super Swinger -- Alldred Slams 5 Hits Saturday, September 9th , 2051 Gerry Alldred did more than his part as the San Antonio Turtles topped the St. Louis Sportsman today at Sportsman Park. The Turtles center fielder pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 8-5 thumping of the Sportsman. Gerry Alldred singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
