Great Day for Richard -- 5 Hits Saturday, September 14th , 2052 It was high-fives all around for Al Richard at Eugene Ballpark today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Eugene Ducks. Richard smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 12-4 win. "Al was hitting everything," said Rapids manager . "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Ducks manager told BNN beat writers that Richard "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Richard oversleeps next time." Al Richard doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Scotty Braun in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
