Cook Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Wednesday, April 30th , 2053 Josh Cook extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the Annapolis 5-4 triumph over the Eugene Ducks. The 27-year-old Destroyers catcher collected 2 hits in 6 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Josh Cook singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, flied out in the 9th and flied out in the 11th. Thus far this year Cook has hit .360 with 4 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
