Colorado Springs Stops Morris's Hit Streak Sunday, July 6th , 2053 Dax Morris's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games today as the Eugene Ducks dropped their contest with the Colorado Springs Avalanche 8-5 at Eugene Ballpark. Morris failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Morris spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Morris on the season is hitting .241 with 3 home runs. His stats include 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
