Hit Streak Now at 20 for Sotelo Thursday, September 4th , 2053 José Sotelo of the Cincinnati Pride tagged 1 hit in today's 7-1 loss to the Cooperstown Greats at Cincinnati Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." José Sotelo grounded out in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. So far this year Sotelo is batting .310 with 24 home runs. |
