Red-Hot Rampage Reaps ULW Reward Monday, June 14th , 2055 23-year-old John O'Brien made a few Albuquerque headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and West officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 19 at-bats to put up a .632 average. O'Brien collected 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Presently O'Brien is batting .359 and has collected 9 home runs, 27 RBIs, .463 OBP and scored 36 runs. |
