Flitney Hits 3 Homers Against Albuquerque Saturday, June 19th , 2055 It was a good day for the Fort Collins North Stars and an exceptional one for Greg Flitney. The 23-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the North Stars beat the Albuquerque Scorpion Kings 7-3 at Fort Collins Ballpark. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Flitney said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 4 runs and smacked 4 hits in 5 at-bats.
