Duluth's Alvarado ULW Star of the Week Monday, June 12th , 2056 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the West, but last week Tom Alvarado of the Duluth Knights reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Alvarado rocked opposing pitching for a .444 average (12-for-27), 2 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Alvarado is hitting .336 with 10 home runs and 41 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .422 clip and scored 43 runs. |
