Lincolns Hernández Out Rest Of Season Saturday, June 24th , 2056 A blow for José Hernández today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9-10 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Hernández suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Springfield Lincolns are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Hernández's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far on the season Hernández is hitting .301 with 5 home runs, 36 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 72 hits and played in 68 games. |
