Rodríguez Collects Cycle Sunday, July 23rd , 2056 António Rodríguez truly did it all at Green Sox Ballpark today. The Greensboro Green Sox second baseman hit for the cycle -- collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- as he paced his club to victory, 8-6 over the Menlo Park Marauders. "You know that sweet sound you hear when you hit the ball just right? I heard that every time today," Rodríguez said later. "It was a heck of a feeling." It was a game good enough for him to make a little history. He bombed Menlo Park pitching for 4 hits in 4 at-bats and his name will now go into the record books. Rodríguez also racked up 3 runs batted in and 1 run scored in the game. António Rodríguez hit a solo-shot off Ryan McCready in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th.
