That was the resounding sentiment in the Flagstaff Venom locker room when they were told they had clinched the West title, for the 9th time. With a 89-45 record, Flagstaff's stars certainly feel like they have a good chance to go all the way. "We're learned a lot under our coaching staff this year. They've taught us to never be over-confident, and play every game like a championship game. I think with that and the team we have, we have a great chance to bring a 5th championship to Flagstaff this year," said closer Tommy Mullins. |
