Scorpion Kings Heading to Union Cup Tuesday, October 3rd , 2056 The Albuquerque Scorpion Kings are one step closer to winning a Union Cup, and the season came to a close for the Flagstaff Venom. Albuquerque won the League Championship Series 4-1, with a 9-5 victory in the deciding game at Venom Field today. Albuquerque catcher Ken Ghazali was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .550 with a .591 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. "I just hope I can keep it up in the Union Cup," he said. The Albuquerque Scorpion Kings don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Montgomery Kings - Cooperstown Greats series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
