Big Day with Bat: Davis 5-for-5 Monday, June 10th , 2058 It was a parade of hits for Jeff Davis of the Montgomery Kings at Paducah Ballpark today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Davis finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Kings to a 10-4 victory. "Davis was really good and we were really bad," groaned Tigers manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Jeff Davis singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. For the year Davis is batting .281 with 3 home runs.
