Scorpion Kings Josh Dye Swings Hot Bat, ULW Winner Monday, July 1st , 2058 So far in his young career, Josh Dye has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the West in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Albuquerque Scorpion Kings designated hitter hit at a torrid .440 clip as he collected 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this season Dye is batting .301 with 6 home runs, 25 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 86 hits in 286 at-bats, 23 walks and a .365 OBP. Dye has played in 75 games. |
