Salinas Selected Top Player Monday, August 12th , 2058 So far in his young career, Manny Salinas has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the East in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Savannah Storm first baseman hit at a torrid .520 clip as he collected 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this year Salinas is hitting .333 with 11 home runs, 42 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
