Curry Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, August 16th , 2058 The hot bat of Kings right fielder Brian Curry continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 2-for-5 in today's 10-7 loss to the North Stars at Fort Collins Ballpark. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Brian Curry hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. So far this season Curry has hit .418 with 2 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 33 times. |
