Duluth Shuts Out North Stars, Corbell Winner
Tuesday, September 3rd , 2058
All went well for Noah Corbell of the Duluth Knights as he pitched his team to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Fort Collins North Stars, limiting them to 6 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Corbell on the day.
"Noah's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Knights manager . "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."
In the contest, the Duluth right-hander rang up 4 and surrendered 1 walk.
"He didn't give us any second chances," said North Stars manager . "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."
This season Corbell has compiled a 9-5 record with a 3.67 ERA.
