Hill Blasts 3 into Bleachers Tuesday, September 10th , 2058 Alan Hill showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Cooperstown Greats and sparked the Storm to a 11-6 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Storm Field." For the day, Hill collected 4 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Savannah skipper said. "Alan really put on a show." Alan Hill hit a two-run home run off Brian Grassi in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Brian Grassi in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ron Dignam in the 5th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this year Hill has 6 home runs and a .391 batting average. |
