"We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said closer Nate Shawler. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 72-64, the Scorpion Kings will now look to bring the 4th Union Cup championship to Albuquerque. |
