Reliever of the Year Award Goes to McSwain Tuesday, October 22nd , 2058 2058 was a year to remember for Larry McSwain. The El Paso Express reliever was the owner of a 2.17 ERA this season over 54 innings of work. He made 53 relief appearances and had 38 saves, 44 strikeouts, 10 walks and a record of 2 wins and 5 losses. He's also now got some hardware, as the 29-year-old has been named the West Reliever of the Year Award winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Vic Foster of the Paducah Tigers finished second in voting, while Mike Greene of the Salem Cherries finished third.
