López ULE's Top Player for 2059

Iván López took Union League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 23.
For his spectacular campaign, the Philadelphia Stars star has been named the 2059 East Most Valuable Hitter recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder.
On the season he compiled a .306 batting average to go with a .449 on-base percentage. The native of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin also added 31 doubles, no triples, 40 home runs, 95 RBIs and 111 runs scored.
He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 20. Leo Evans of the Philadelphia Stars finished second in voting with 7 first place votes, while Cale Carter of the Vancouver Canadians finished third.
