Hitting Streak Still Alive for Livermore

Tim Livermore, right fielder for the Montgomery Kings, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 5-2 victory today over the Fort Collins North Stars at Kings Palace today.

"Not the outcome we wanted," Fort Collins manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment."
Tim Livermore hit a three-run home run off Mike Picot in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th.

In the current season, Livermore has put up a .313 batting average with 21 hits, 2 home runs, 13 runs batted in and scored 7 runs.
