Player of the Week: Fort Collins's Lang Monday, June 7th , 2060 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the West, but last week Simon Lang of the Fort Collins North Stars reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Lang rocked opposing pitching for a .524 average (11-for-21), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Lang is batting .319 with 10 home runs and 35 RBIs. In 57 games he has scored 37 times. |
