Season-Ending Injury for Gui Zha
Tuesday, June 15th , 2060
When Salem reliever Gui Zha was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Cherries-Venom game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Zha had sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 13 months.
This season Zha has logged 10 relief appearances, 24.2 IP, 28 strikeouts, and a 8.39 ERA. His W-L mark is 1 win and 1 loss, and he has no saves.
