Eilsz Week's #1 Player Monday, July 5th , 2060 23-year-old Christovão Eilsz made a few Duluth headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and West officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Eilsz collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Hitting .329 to date, Eilsz has 18 home runs and 51 RBIs. He has played in 74 games. |
