Paducah's Pinal Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, July 19th , 2060 26-year-old Alex Pinal made a few Paducah headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and West officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .385 average. Pinal collected 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Pinal is currently batting .259 with 21 home runs and 57 RBIs. |
