Injury Sidelines Adam Gates for Season Wednesday, July 29th , 2065 Adam Gates will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Albuquerque starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Gates was injured while throwing a pitch in the Scorpion Kings-Crabpots clash at High Rock Park recently. Doctors said he has bone chips in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 7-8 months. This year Gates has fanned 14 in 29.1 innings and collected a 3-2 record with a 4.60 ERA. |
