Harris's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Thursday, August 6th , 2065 Mike Harris was taking it slow and easy nursing a strained abdominal muscle back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Fort Collins team official, "Mike was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 24-year-old North Stars starting pitcher will be out at least another 3 weeks. This year Harris has made 2 starts, thrown 48 innings, fanned 50 batters and walked 20. His won-lost record is 1-2 with a 5.62 ERA. |
