Sabatier Belts 3 HRs Thursday, August 6th , 2065 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Springfield Stadium buzzing, Springfield Lincolns right fielder Jim Sabatier blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 6-3 win over the El Paso Express. "Everything was clicking," Sabatier told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Sabatier shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Lincolns manager said. "Jim played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Jim Sabatier hit a solo-shot off Nick McGuire in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Nick McGuire in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Lyons in the 7th and walked in the 8th. |
