A classic and dramatic League Championship Series has wrapped up, with the Ocean City Crabpots outlasting the Menlo Park Marauders to advance to the Union Cup.

Ocean City won the final game by a score of 8-3 and took the series 4-3.

"We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Ocean City right fielder Chris Eley, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP.

Eley hit .464 with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Ocean City Crabpots will play against the Springfield Lincolns in the next round. Springfield won their series against the Salem Cherries 4 games to 1. The Union Cup schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
