Tommy Cardiel Wallops 3 Homers for Lincolns Monday, September 9th , 2069 In a powerful performance that left the fans at High Rock Park buzzing, Springfield Lincolns left fielder Tommy Cardiel blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 9-2, over the Albuquerque Scorpion Kings. "Everything was clicking," Cardiel told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Cardiel shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Lincolns manager said. "Tommy played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
