Fort Collins Loses Chris Becker Tuesday, May 20th , 2070 A blow for Chris Becker today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a partially torn labrum. Becker suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Fort Collins North Stars are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Becker's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season, Becker has compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark with 2 saves and a 7.04 ERA. In 38.1 innings he has fanned 34 and opponents are hitting him at a .303 clip. |
