Hits Galore: Bell Drills 5 Hits Wednesday, August 16th , 2045 It was a hits blitz for Bob Bell at New Boston Park today. The New Boston Bruins first baseman tore into the Tucson Knights for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Knights swept past the Bruins 5-4 to ruin Bell's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," New Boston manager explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Bob was nice but it wasn't enough." Bob Bell singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. For the season Bell has hit .301 with no home runs and 22 RBIs.
