Postseason Bid Ends for Tucson Tuesday, August 29th , 2045 It wasn't meant to be for the Tucson Knights this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Knights starting pitcher Ernesto RamÃrez. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." Before this season, the Knights last missed the playoffs in 2043. In the 32 years they have been a Union League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 24 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 9 times. Tucson last won the Round 3 in 2044. |
