Octávio Rivera of the Fort Collins North Stars had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Hitter for 2045.

The 25-year-old first baseman put up a .353 average and a .451 on-base percentage, piling up 193 hits, 31 doubles, 1 triple, 44 home runs, 122 RBIs and 133 runs scored.

He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 20. Tony Hernández of the Evansville Venom finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Jon Davis of the Evansville Venom finished third.
