Gustafson Hits in 20 Straight Games Thursday, August 15th , 2052 The Fort Collins North Stars fell to the Albuquerque Scorpion Kings in High Rock Park today, even as 20-year-old shortstop Rusty Gustafson upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Gustafson finished with 2 hits in 5 at-bats, but could not stop the North Stars from dropping the 3-1 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Gustafson. Rusty Gustafson singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
