Greats Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 31st , 2052 There will be no late-season playoff surge for the Cooperstown Greats, who were officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Cooperstown last appeared in the postseason in 2047. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 35 times in their 39-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Greats have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
