Saturday, October 26th , 2052
The future looks extremely bright for Dewitt Joyner. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in Union League.

Joyner has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the East Most Valuable Hitter.

"I didn't expect to hit .305 this year, that's for sure," the right fielder said.

The Philadelphia Stars star also put up a .412 on-base percentage this year, with 155 hits, 31 doubles, 3 triples, 49 home runs, 143 RBIs and 120 runs scored.

He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 20. Dane Shirley of the Ocean City Crabpots finished second in voting, while Dan Williams of the Montgomery Kings finished third with 1 first place vote.
