West Torches Pride for 5 Hits Sunday, July 6th , 2053 Mike West really sizzled at the plate in today's 10-8 win over Pride. The Ocean City left fielder blistered Cincinnati for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "West was too tough to get out today," the Pride skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Mike West hit a solo-shot off Luis Castro in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
