Season-Ending Injury for Tyler Reinholz
Sunday, September 16th , 2057
The doctors have spoken and Tyler Reinholz of the Caseyville Fighter Pilots didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Reinholz sustained his season-ending injury during the Carlsbad Bad Apples game yesterday at Caseyville Stadium. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Caseyville medical staff reported Reinholz had a torn rotator cuff and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11-12 months.

Reinholz's record this year is 2-and-1 with no saves and a 5.84 ERA. He has given up 49 hits in 49.1 innings with 39 strikeouts.
