Johnston Punishes CLW Pitchers This Week Monday, April 28th , 2059 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the West, but last week Joey Johnston of the Spokane Indians reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Johnston rocked opposing pitching for a .346 average (9-for-26), 5 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Johnston has put up a .305 batting average with 25 hits, 9 home runs and 20 RBIs. |
