West Names Calvillo Best Batter Monday, July 7th , 2059 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the West, but last week Ricky Calvillo of the St. Cloud Water Wolves reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Calvillo rocked opposing pitching for a .370 average (10-for-27), 4 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Calvillo has 10 home runs and a .296 batting average. |
