Miners Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, August 29th , 2059 The Coeur D'Alene Miners have a new opponent: mathematics. The Miners still have games to play in their disappointing 2059 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Miners were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. The Miners are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 43 seasons in the CL. |
