Bad Behavior Costs Paul and Evans Tuesday, September 9th , 2059 If there wasn't a history between Jared Paul of Hilton Head and Bob Evans of Hartford, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 9 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Paul said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." On the season, Paul is batting .283 with 23 home runs and 100 RBIs. He has played in 131 games. This season Evans has chalked up no saves, notched a 3-2 record with a 7.09 ERA, allowed 31 hits in his 26.2 innings of work, struck out 29 and walked 33. Opponents are hitting .287 against the Hartford hurler. |
