San Luis Obispo Takes Wildcard Series in Deciding Game Monday, September 22nd , 2059 When the entire season comes down to one game, Chris Johnson said you find out what a team is really about. As it turns out, the San Luis Obispo Saints are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Erie Brigs 9-6 tonight at Brigs Stadium in order to win the Wildcard Series and book a place in the next round. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Johnson, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." Johnson hit .450 with a .542 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. The San Luis Obispo Saints will play against the Mobile Hammers in the next round.
