Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Lujan

He may only be 24, but Rodrigo Lujan of the Havre de Grace Ducks has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the East.

The reliever was today named the CLE Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2059.

He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 27 saves in 50 relief appearances and 76 strikeouts in 53 innings. He had a record of 6-4 to go with his 1.53 ERA.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Lonnie Cox of the Ottawa Lynx finished second in voting, while George Summers of the Hoboken Falcons finished third.
