Best CLE Reliever Named Thursday, October 21st , 2049 He may only be 24, but Alfredo Martínez of the Erie Brigs has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the East. The reliever was today named the CLE Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2049. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 24 saves in 53 relief appearances and 153 strikeouts in 134.1 innings. He had a record of 11-9 to go with his 3.15 ERA. He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 20. Cipriano Vera of the Toledo Ducks finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Eric Rogers of the Wheeling Passways finished third.
